A Rah, Rah Sports Fan

One of my assistants commented, “Almost every time I come into your room, you are watching tennis.” Of course! At the present time the Australian Open is being played and there are numerous exciting and lengthy matches.

My mentor, Rev. George Holdeman, gave me a used racquet and taught me how to play when I was 13. I played competitively in high school and college and socially for as long as I was able.

Although the only basketball I played was in high school P. E., I am currently enjoying the Nuggets, C. U. Women’s (currently ranked #3 nationally) and C. U.Men’s games.

From April to October (I wish it were longer), I watch the Rockies. Mostly, I watch because although I have viewed hundreds of games, there is always something happen that has never happened before. I watch to see what unusual event will occur.

Okay, Coco Gauff is starting her match and I must watch!
