June
June, debonair guest,
Showering me with roses
from luxuriant gardens,
Caressing with gentle breeze as
I doze in Sunbeam’s
warm embrace,
Kissing me awake
with dew-drop showers,
Romancing me
in Twilight’s
velvety breath.
June, stay, be my Lover.

I look forward to greeting each month by going to your blog to enjoy the poem and photo. I well remember your climbing rose. I think you planted it yourself!
